Prezi is exciting and easy to use. It looks really professional and is very slick making the audience feel engaged. With projection and prezi we can use it to change location quickly or it can be used in a loop showing images, words or set. Even a poster of big brother in the background might be good because then it will show the audience that everyone is always being watched by him.In our last play blackout there was a lot of change in location so using prezi in this piece will have useful because we could have a projection in the background with an image that relates to the location we are in. Also in 1984 they have 'hate' where everyone is shouting so using prezi we could have previously recorded shouts and screams so when we shout with it it sound like their are more people involved and will make it more aggressive. We could also pre record some of the broadcasts that come up on the telescreen and put it on prezi so that it actually looks like it is on a TV if it is projected on the stage.
Prezi has a lot of theatrical potential because we can make it go on a loop while we are performing. It is also more exciting than just a power point and we can show images and videos to add to our performance. I think that prezi will be very exciting and interesting to use because I have only used it a couple of times before so it will be great learning how I can apply prezi to a piece of theatre.
